Geothermal Energy - AR
Geothermal energy is heat whithin the earth. Geo means land/earth and thermal means heat. geothermal energy is produced by: volcanos, mud pools, guysers, steam and water and produces hot water and electricity. The first ever geothermal power plant was bulit in Italy around 104 years ago. Geothermal energy produces 7% of the worlds elelctricity and 1% of New Zealands electricity.
